Getting Down to Business

I am really excited about a few things!

1. Tomorrow, Sunday, January 27,  I will be participating in the Boulder Wedding Showcase. If you are in town, stop on by my booth from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. My booth we be located in the famous Boulder Theater. (Yes, I chose to show in the theater over Rembrandt Yard. Since I will not be rocking the stage in this lifetime, I figured having a vendor booth there is as close as I will get to being a rock star.) All couples who attend are entered to win $500 worth of wedding vendor services.

2. I am doing a “soft opening” of some new branding in the next few days and weeks. I worked with the absolutely lovely Ravyn of 315 Design to come up with the new look. Yes, I used to be a graphic designer, but designing anything for myself has always been a struggle. So working with someone else for a change was a relief. Part of the new look is on my main wedding and portrait website, but expect more changes to this blog and the website in the next few weeks.

3. Our sister company, Chloe Pet Photography, is getting a new website complete with their very own blog! Their URL will still be the same, while the blog will be http://chloepetphotography.com/blog. Expect those changes to roll out in the next few weeks as well.

4. Below is my DIY collateral that I will be handing out at the wedding showcase. Instead of going for a slick photo look, I am embracing materials that I already had on hand and using some of the new branding elements to get crafty. So much fun!

hey there!

I've been photographing families professionally since 2006. I am a wife, mama to 2 boys, companion to 2 cats who are named after members of the royal British family, a former preschool teacher. I love running, hiking 14ers, sparkly clothes, the band Phish, river float trips, St. John USVI, farm CSAs, and Colorado blue skies.
