...a Colorado-based photographer and mom who believes Life's fleeting moments deserved to be remembered and that photographs let us return to the beauty of today, long after it has passed.
My love for photography started early — with a plastic blue Fisher Price 110 film camera in the 80s and a lineup of Cabbage Patch kids as my first “clients.” By 2006, I had officially launched my photography business, turning that childhood joy into a lifelong career.
Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds of families, newborns, seniors, and weddings across Colorado and beyond — from Boulder and Denver to the foothills, from Oregon to New York and Maryland. With a background in art (BFA) and even preschool teaching, I bring both creativity and patience to every session. Whether it’s a shy toddler, a reluctant teen, or a partner who would rather be anywhere else, I know how to make the experience fun, relaxed, and real.
Things I Iove include float trips on rivers, running, mountain lions (not while running), live Phish shows, the band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, vinyl records, Hamilton the musical, lightning bugs, CSA farm shares, and watching my children move through light. I also love Maryland, my home state. Give me blue crabs, Natty Bohs, and O’s games please. St. John USVI is my favorite spot in the world, and I also love Vermont, Utah, New York, Scotland, India…and pretty much every place I go.
In 2018, I participated in Longmont Studio Tours, displaying photographs and wax paintings to the general public. Before that, I actually majored in art in college!
