Niwot Colorado Family, Newborn & Senior Photography
Niwot is a small town with character — a real main street, older neighborhoods, mature trees, actual yards, a train park that kids love. I've photographed families and seniors here in homes, backyards, and at the train park and playground.
In-home sessions are my most-booked option in Niwot.They work especially well for families with young kids and newborns — you get photos that actually look like your life, in the place where it happens.

Newborn + Maternity Photography in Niwot
The newborn stage is over so fast. And the weeks just before — that last stretch of pregnancy when everything feels both endless and fleeting — deserve to be documented too.
I offer both maternity sessions and newborn sessions, and many Niwot families book both. There's something special about having images that bookend that entire season: the anticipation, and then the arrival.
Maternity
I photograph maternity sessions outdoors in and around Niwot — the Boulder Reservoir, Coot Lake, and the open space trails nearby are all good options depending on the season. Most maternity sessions work best between 28 and 36 weeks. I have a client wardrobe available if you're not sure what to wear.

Newborn
In-home newborn sessions are my favorite way to document those first days — because your home is where the real story lives. The crib you painted. The chair you nursed in at 3am. The sibling who can't stop trying to hold the baby. I work entirely at your baby's pace — there's time for feeding, soothing, and all the unhurried snuggles. I'll gently wrangle siblings, help nervous partners relax, and keep everything as calm as possible. You just soak it in.
One tip: I recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy so your spot is reserved. The sweet spot for photos is days 5–14, before babies get too alert and wiggly — and those weeks fill up fast.

For Niwot families, in-home sessions work especially well — you get photos that actually look like your life, in the place where it happens. The kitchen, the backyard, the couch. Someday your kids will want to see exactly where they grew up.
That said, Niwot has good outdoor options too. The train park is reliable for younger kids. Downtown Niwot has character. The surrounding open space works well for families who want something more natural and spread out. I'm happy to make a recommendation based on the ages of children as well as your ideas and thoughts.
Family sessions are relaxed and unscripted. I focus on what's actually happening — the laugh, the pile-on, the kid who makes a run for it.

Niwot Senior Photography
Preschool to kindergarten. Elementary school to middle school. And then somehow, suddenly, they're seniors — and you're already dreading the moment you drop them off at college and drive away.
This is the year to stop and document exactly who they are right now. Before everything changes again.
I've photographed Niwot seniors in their yards, downtown, and all over Boulder County and beyond. Some seniors want to stay close — a backyard session or a walk through downtown Niwot. Others want to drive. I've photographed Niwot seniors as far as Nederland for the right backdrop. Hall Ranch in Lyons, the mountains west of Boulder, open space trails — it depends on what fits your senior's personality.
If your senior doesn't have a location in mind, I'll make suggestions based on what they're going for. Yearbook photo submission is handled directly — one less thing on your plate.
Photography Investment
Niwot family, newborn, and maternity sessions include a $300 session fee. After your gallery reveal you choose a collection of digital files and print credit toward artwork, ranging from $800–$1,500. Most Niwot families invest between $1,100 and $1,875 total.
Niwot high school senior portrait sessions start at $600 and include 15 digital images plus yearbook photo submission. Upgrades available.
Every session includes planning support, styling guidance, and a curated online gallery. And because I know a folder of digital files sitting on your computer isn't the goal — print credit is built into every collection so the images actually end up somewhere you can see them.
Book two sessions within 12 months and receive $300 off your second session fee. This is especially popular with maternity and newborn clients who want to document both pregnancy and those first weeks with baby — and with newborn families who return for a family session as their baby grows. Parents of seniors who add a family session while everyone is together love it too.
