Senior pictures don't need to feel awkward or overly staged. I'm Susannah, a Northern Colorado senior photographer based in the Longmont area, and I've been photographing high school seniors across Boulder County, Larimer County, and the Front Range for nearly 15 years.
Senior photo sessions are relaxed and low-pressure so your senior feels comfortable in front of the camera. From session prep to posing, I'm there every step of the way — so your senior feels at ease and you don't have to worry about a thing.. The result: natural, timeless portraits that feel like them.
I photograph seniors throughout Northern Colorado and the Front Range — including Longmont, Boulder, Erie, Niwot, Lyons, Broomfield, Mead, Berthoud, Lafayette, Louisville, Fort Collins, Loveland, Golden, and Denver. Sessions take place at locations that fit your senior's personality, from mountain backdrops and open space to downtown settings across the Front Range.
I've photographed seniors from Longmont High, Skyline High, Niwot High, Mead High, Erie High, Lyons High, Centaurus, Broomfield High, Holy Family, Boulder High, Fairview, and schools across the Front Range.
Senior season fills quickly — summer and fall 2026 dates are limited.
After you book, we'll figure out the details together — location, timing, and what to wear. I suggest seniors consider spots that mean something to them — a favorite park, a place they hang out, somewhere that feels like them. If they're not sure, I'm happy to suggest locations based on what they're looking for. Outfit help is available if you want it.
On session day we move through the location at a relaxed pace, usually with one or two outfit changes. I keep things low-key so seniors loosen up quickly — most are having fun within the first few minutes.
Your gallery arrives within about two weeks. From there you'll choose your 15 images, including your yearbook photo. If you'd like more, upgrade options are available after you see the full gallery. I'm happy to handle yearbook image formatting and submission directly with your school — just send me the specs.

Every session starts at $600 and includes 15 hand-edited images you choose from your gallery, plus yearbook photo formatting and submission included.
Once you see your images, you can add more if you want them — most families do.
A $200 retainer reserves your date. Upgrade selections are made after your gallery is delivered.

Booking senior pictutres? Add a family session for just $100 — instead of the usual $300 session fee. Family photos shouldn't stop once the kids are teens, and your whole family may not be under one roof much longer. We'll find time whenever works — before your senior heads off to college in the fall.

Sessions are held outdoors using natural light, with locations chosen to reflect your senior's personality — from open fields and mountain backdrops to parks and downtown settings across Boulder County, Larimer County, and Jefferson County.
When should senior Pictures be taken?
Most seniors schedule their session between late spring and early fall, depending on sports, activities, and yearbook deadlines. Summer and early fall sessions are especially popular for warm light and outdoor locations. Sessions fill up as the yearbook deadline approaches, so booking early is recommended.

What should my senior wear for their session?
I provide guidance on outfit selection so everything photographs well and feels true to your senior’s style. Neutral tones, layers, and simple textures tend to work beautifully, and I recommend avoiding large logos or bold patterns. Seniors are welcome to bring multiple outfits for variety.
Do you help choose the photo location?
Yes. I help select locations based on your senior’s personality, style, and the overall look you want. Sessions often take place outdoors in natural light, using Colorado locations that feel timeless and relaxed rather than trendy or overdone.
What if my senior feels nervous in front of the camera?
This is very common and completely okay. Sessions are low-pressure with guidance on posing to help seniors feel comfortable. Most seniors relax quickly once we get started, and parents are often surprised by how confident their senior looks in the final images.
How long does it take to receive the photos?
Galleries are delivered within two weeks of the session. Images are carefully edited and presented in an online gallery where you can select and download your final images.
Can parents attend the session?
Parents are always welcome to attend and help if needed.

Can senior photos be used for THE yearbook ?
Yes. Images are suitable for yearbook use, and I’m happy to help ensure your senior has what they need for school submission requirements. If your school has specific guidelines or deadlines, just let me know when you inquire or before your session.
Do you submit the yearbook photo for us?
Yes — I format and submit the yearbook image directly to your school based on their specifications. It's included in every session.
