A Summer Wedding in Longmont, Colorado

Marisa and Nate’s countryside Shupe Homestead wedding was recently featured on the Couture Colorado wedding blog. The couple got married at an outdoor ceremony site that had perfect views of Longs Peak. The Fourteener was directly inline with the altar, making it a spectacular spot to exchange wedding vows. Their cocktail hour and reception took place both outside and inside of the Shupe Homestead building.

I especially liked the dessert pies that guests could choose from and all of the dancing. (Nate is a fantastic dancer!) Plus, they were lucky enough to be able to hold a sparkler grand exit (with fire danger in Colorado, you never know until the last minute if this will be a possibility).

As always, thank you the wedding couple, Marisa and Nate, for trusting me to photograph your wedding. It is an honor. Thank you to Couture Colorado for sharing this wonderful event and thanks to the Shupe Homestead and At Your Service Events for doing an amazing job. And I cannot forget the lovely 2nd photographer, Jenny Crate, with Green Blossom Photography!

(**And, yes, I do sponsor the Couture Colorado website! I met Laura when she gave a talk at a workshop I attended years ago, and liked her ideas, her message, and how she helps Colorado couples. So I am happy to support that wedding blog!)
