Grand Lake, Colorado is a beautiful mountain town–the perfect spot to host a wedding. And Colleen and Brian chose it as the background for their outdoor wedding ceremony (which took place overlooking a river at the Double A Barn) and their wedding reception (which took place overlooking Grand Lake at the Grand Riviera Event Center).

The couple initially met at a bar (through a mutual friend!), but Colleen stealthily left the bar that night, leaving Brian to hang with her friend and his own friends. Luckily for Brian, Colleen came around, and this lovely summer Grand Lake wedding ensued! I love the green dresses (which happen to match the AA Barn!); their dog who helped Colleen get ready, walked down the aisle, and was a guest at the AA Barn portion of the day; and of course Colorado’s beautiful backdrop!

Wedding guests were directed to their table by an old-fashioned antique key with a hang-tag listing their table number. I also love the gold accents of the utensils–these happened to match the keys.

Thanks to the Gardner Effect for the amazing attention to detail and helping all wedding day events run smoothly, even with some fleeting mountain rain showers.
