Why should you book a photography session with me?

*I am super laid-back and easy to be around, which means if you feel awkward in photos, JUST STOP. I will chat away while guiding you into poses.

*I have two crazy boys–the behavior of any young kiddos does not phase me.

*You’ve made it over half-way through 2020 — it’s time to document your survival!

*Despite a pandemic, you and yours are still getting older. Don’t you want to capture your loved ones as they are today?!

*Making plans with me is way easier than choosing how to educate your children for Fall 2020.

I am only booking 12 more family sessions for the remainder of 2020.

This is because in addition to running a photography business and being the marketing manager for the best realtor in Boulder (Karen Bernardi), I may find myself with the added job titles of kindergarten teacher and 2nd grade teacher. (And let’s not forget about my other job titles: mom, wife, cat owner, chef, house cleaner.) As much as I’d love to do every little thing with a smile, family first and then everything else.

COVID 411

*I take your family’s health seriously. During our photo session, I will maintain 6′ of distance, wear a mask, and carry/use copious amounts of hand sanitizer. (Prepare young kids for the mask!)

*Before our session, we’ll confirm that your family members are healthy — no fevers or known exposure. I’ll do the same for you.

*Final session location will depend on local government rules at the time of your session.

*Mask use by adults and some children (depending on age) may be required at trailheads and on trails when 6′ of distance cannot be maintained from other parties.

*Rescheduling due to sickness or local laws/COVID is a-okay.

FAQs

1. What if a date or time I want is not available?
Email me at info@susannahphoto.com and tell me the times you need. There could be some flexibility, especially with weekday sessions.

2. Where do photo sessions take place?
We will brainstorm this together. Your home/yard, a local park, a hiking trail. My priority is safety for you (and all my clients), so COVID could help us decide where to meet up.

3. Can I bring my dog?
As long as pets are allowed in the location we are photographing, sure thing.

4. How many people can be photographed?
Immediate family is covered!

5. Do you do those porch sessions?
We can photograph you and yours on a front porch if you’d like, but these aren’t trying to be those. I do, however, think documenting your current life at your current location makes sense, and outdoors is safer than indoors!
