And now that July is moving right along, why not share some images from six months ago, from right around Christmas time? A sort of Christmas in July share?! These portraits feature one of my favorite Denver, Colorado families. It is so much fun to see their son grow up, and I always enjoy chatting with the cool, down-to-earth parents. I wish we lived closer to each other so that I could see them more!
A new summer is here! And, my, it is in full swing, with the Fourth of July just a couple of days away. I came across several internet articles about families being intentional about their summer freedom to maximize the fun, and although I am not sure if my family has quite accomplished this, there are several themes that I’ve been enjoying besides work.
Nicole and David’s elegant Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding was recently featured on the Knot. This Colorado wedding venue is absolutely spectacular–beautiful, stunning, inspiring. And Nicole’s dad even contributed to the venue by enhancing its amazing qualities–he’s an architect and worked on the venue’s remodeling. A Snow Mountain Ranch wedding that I photographed has been featured on Brown Sparrow Wedding, and I couldn’t be happier that they are sharing this fun “Double Wedding” to a broader audience. Arapahoe Basin is one of the most scenic wedding spots in the state of Colorado. The mountains at A-Basin are so rugged and steep and just perfect.
And everything about Kari and Dave’s Black Mountain Lodge / Arapahoe Basin wedding was a joy. From the rock climbing wedding couple to Dave’s sense of humor, from the spectacular views to Meredith and the event staff at A-basin, from Kari’s stunning dress to the colorful sunflower bouquets…I was in photo heaven on their wedding day.
