Colorado Outdoor Family Portraits

A couple months ago, on a beautiful fall day, I headed to Golden, Colorado to take family portraits. The family also headed to Golden from south of Denver, and I was eager to see them. I photograph them every year, and enjoy hearing what they’ve been up to and seeing how their son has grown.

Past family portraits have taken place throughout the Denver region. We did a family photography session at Red Rocks. We have also headed to City Park for Denver family portraits, as well as an outdoor farmstead in Parker. (I’m shocked I can’t find these on my blog! So strange…I’ll need to dig around for them!)

I’ve seen Kian, their son, go through different phases: from cars and trucks to bicycles to Super Heroes to books. Since my oldest son is close to his age, I get a kick out of chatting with Kian. I can relate to him and his parents in many ways, but Kian is definitely his own fellow!

I say it over and over again: I am so blessed to get to photograph the same families every year! I look forward to it and marvel at how lucky I am! So thank you, thank you, thank you to these families!
