Elegant Colorado Wedding

As I’ve mentioned on Instagram lately, I haven been binge-watching Outlander. I’m on season 3 and I cannot get enough of Jamie and Claire…their love for each other, the story of their love, the Scottish scenery, the French scenery…I am really enjoying this television show.

Which may be why I am enjoying this Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding. The architecture and age of the venue remind me a bit of the Scottish castles…I know it’s not the same at all, but since Colorado is lacking in historical architecture (compared to the East Coast compared to Europe)…this is fairly close for the Denver area!

I loved photographing Nicole and David’s wedding at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Reasons include:

The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous.
The game room area for the guys is perfect to relax before the wedding day.
So many photo opportunities INSIDE the venue–which is great for early spring, winter, and late fall weddings when the weather is more likely to be questionable. I especially love the large tiled hallway and grand fireplace.
Photo opportunities OUTSIDE the venue including a large wrap around veranda/porch.
Horses ran through the fields behind the wedding ceremony gazebo–how perfect!
Fabulous reception room set up with great dance floor area.
