Lodge at Breckenridge Colorado Wedding | Stephanie + Charles

Another Lodge at Breckenridge Wedding | Summit County Colorado

After I posted Melissa and Spencer’s Lodge at Breckenridge wedding on this blog, I realized that I have a slew of Lodge at Breck weddings that I never shared with you all. (This happens because I pull weddings aside to submit to wedding blogs, and then sort of move forward while I wait to hear back.)(I am taking a break from submitting to wedding blogs.)(Except maybe A Practical Wedding at some point in the future.)(More on that in a future blog post.)

So, anyway, below are images from a Lodge at Breckenridge wedding that I photographed on a perfectly Colorado fall day. Aspens, snow, sunshine…this wedding had it all. But, mainly, this wedding had Stephanie and Charles, one of my favorite wedding couples to date.

The couple live on the East Coast, but Stephanie has Colorado roots. Charles used to be a teacher, but is now a firefighter (my sons would be so jealous and in awe of him!)…but that’s not what makes them among my favorites. They are so nice and down to earth and real and care about others. The times I spent with them (meeting them to see if we’re a good fit, then wedding planning, and then wedding day), I felt so relaxed and happy and I even felt cared for. Although I have lots of great clients, and many of them do watch out for their wedding photographer (especially when it comes to meals, thankfully!), these two were above and beyond.

Stephanie and Charles, I am so grateful to have met you two and to have photographed your wedding day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

More favorite memories from this Breckenridge wedding include

*The wedding cakes. One of them was made by the groom’s dad. So amazing.

*The DIY details. This couple loves hiking and parks and all that good stuff in life, so they had national park themed centerpieces. They also had a map with camping symbols that guests could write well wishes on.

*The cake topper also had a mountain theme. So cute and cool.

*Heading up to Boreas Pass for wedding party and wedding couple photos…with those yellow aspens…and snow.

*The dancing. Always the dancing. I remember Charles and a friend dancing to Gangnam Style. I remember so many guests of all ages out on the dance floor together. I love it so so much!

*Passing around the wedding rings during the ceremony so guests could bless them.

Colorado wedding vendors

And, also as always, many thanks to the Colorado wedding vendors who helped make this an amazing celebration. Just some of the vendors include:

I have shared some images from this wedding before. Charles and Stephanie were featured in this wedding photography sneak peek blog post.
