5 Gifts Every Mother Loves

Mother’s Day is Almost Here!

These gifts will be sure to please the mama in you life, and many of them can still be purchased even though Mother’s Day is in 4 days! So, without further ado, 5 gifts every mother loves!

1. A Family Photography Session

What mom doesn’t want to be in more photos with her kiddos?

I myself appear pretty much only in photos with my kids on holidays. They are stiffly-posed, comically-bad ones that my husband kindly takes while my kids get annoyed from being pulled from whatever it was they were doing. (Which is why I pay to have a professional photography shoot about once a year!)

So, yes, definitely yes, to professional photo shoots with mamas! You can buy a gift card from me to cover the session fee (discounted to $249 through Sunday 5/9/21).

Collections which feature a combo of digital files and print credit start at $700 and are purchased after you view your images.

2. Framed Art

Get your photographs off your computer and onto your walls! Fill in blank space or replace older art and photographs.

If you are a past client, you can order frames through me. Access your gallery or reach out to me for help. I am happy to make recommendations and choose images. Or, I can send you a gift certificate to cover framed art and Mama can decide.

Also, I will honor a 30% Mother’s Day discount–just email me at info@susannahphoto.com for help.

(Your framed print will not arrive in time for Mother’s Day, but I can send you a proof photo that you can print and share.)

3. Photo prints

Again, get your photos off of your computer or phone and into your life! Your computer will be replaced. Your hard-drive will fail. The cloud isn’t the best place to view your photos!

Order photo prints for the moms in your life.

Past clients can order through their online galleries (of course, I can help!). These photos are high quality, archival, and color-matched. Or, give a gift certificate to let mama decide.

Artifact Uprising is another great place to order photos from, and I also use Mike’s Camera here in Colorado. Their quality is not quite as great as my printer or Artifact Uprising, but they are an easy and local company to use!

Every year, I print a family yearbook using Blurb books. I am so grateful to have my memories captured in albums. It is so fun to flip pages and see photos of my babies, then toddlers, then little boys in places like Arizona, Jackson Hole, Moab. Time flies.

I also offer heirloom albums to past clients. I design the initial version, and mama can finalize.

5. Spa Treatments

OH MY GOSH! As soon as this pandemic is over, I am heading to a spa for a massage, facial, pedicure, and perhaps some other treatments. Almost every woman I know (and all the men too for that fact!) feels the same way.

The St. Julian in Boulder is simply the best. You can order gift cards by calling (720) 406-9696 option 0.

Sunflower Spa in Longmont is an option if Mama prefers to avoid the hustle of Boulder.

hey there!

I'm
Susannah

I've been photographing families professionally since 2006. I am a wife, mama to 2 boys, companion to 2 cats who are named after members of the royal British family, a former preschool teacher. I love running, hiking 14ers, sparkly clothes, the band Phish, river float trips, St. John USVI, farm CSAs, and Colorado blue skies.
