Boulder, Colorado Engagement Photos

Today I am sharing several of Michael and Nicole’s engagement photos in celebration of their upcoming wedding. It is hard to believe that I met them in Boulder, Colorado just about a year ago to take their engagement photos. We headed up Flagstaff Mountain to Lost Gulch to get some big mountain views. And while we did just that, the weather also had its own agenda. Rain. Wind. Clouds. Wind. Sun. Wind.

We had fun dealing with the exciting elements and a group of extremely loud, giggling high school or college girls. I marveled how Lost Gulch could be so windy, while other spots on Flagstaff Mountain were far more tolerable. My favorite moments occurred when the sun broke through the clouds, and I captured some high contrast portraits of Nicole.

Their wedding is just around the corner–in just over a month at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons, Colorado. I can’t wait to take more photos of this happy, fun couple and to witness their wedding day.
