When I look back on this June wedding that took place at Boulder, Colorado’s Greenbriar Inn, I just can’t help but smile. I am so lucky that Becky and Bryan chose me to photograph their day–simply put, they rock. They are smart. They are into spreadsheets (I wish I was). They are laid-back, easy-going. Bryan’s smile and big guffaw is infectious. Becky is beautiful. They had banjo music at their ceremony. So many things that made me feel right at home.
It did rain during their wedding ceremony. I love this! Wedding guests huddled under coat jackets, programs, and umbrellas–what great photo ops! Bryan’s rain-streaked suit. YAY! But really, you just have to embrace it and laugh. Nothing can get in the way of love, and even though it started to pour, people smiled even more than at a “dry” wedding.
