Anniversary Photoshoot at Colorado’s Snow Mountain Ranch

Anniversary Photos Featuring New Family Members

One morning in May, I headed to Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado for a couple’s anniversary photoshoot. They got married at this gorgeous mountain spot years prior, and wanted to celebrate 10 years of marriage with a photo session at their wedding site. Of course, things change in 10 years, and this time they were accompanied by 3 adorable kiddos. And, the also adorable family dogs came along for the fun.

FAQ: Do You Even Do Anniversary Photoshoots? What About Birthday Parties or Reunions?

Anniversary Photoshoots

Obviously I am happy to capture an anniversary photoshoot, and to me, this is pretty much the same as a “normal” (ha, whatever that means!) photography session. As long as we are talking about immediate family only (and a couple of grandparents are always welcome), the rates for are the same.

You can check out photography rate information on this webpage. If I am traveling a great distance (and I am happy to), there may be a travel fee added on–just send me the deets and we can chat.

Birthday Party Photography

Check, I will photograph birthday parties. Rates depend on the details: how many hours of coverage, the event location, the number of guests. You can expect a minimum of $700 for an hour of coverage, to give you a very vague starting point. Fill out my contact form with the info, and I will be in touch with a quote.

Family Reunion Photography

I often get requests for family reunion photography, and this is a service that I offer. The session fee for this is $900 for 10-25 people. After you see the photos, you choose which collection you would like to purchase, which starts at an additional $750 and includes 20 digital files. Find more information on my family reunion page.

Back to the Snow Mountain Ranch Anniversary Photoshoot

Back to the topic at hand! It was so fun to meet these clients! They are amazing, interesting people with military careers. We spent some of our time playing and recreating wedding moments. We played games to capture natural moments. We walked around the beautiful mountain property and even saw baby foxes!

I love that the recreated their wedding day with elevated dresses and outfits. I love the cowboy boys, and I especially love dad’s hat moving around in the light. And I love that mom took the time to take care of herself, and had beautiful make up. Still, she couldn’t get away from mom duty–her sleepy babe took a nap on mama.
