Work as a Colorado wedding photographer is wonderful, but definitely a bit competitive. There are so many talented photographers in a saturated market. That is part of the reason I get so excited and honored when my weddings are featured on local and national wedding blogs…it makes me feel good about my images, it honors the wedding couple (who put so much time and effort into their wedding day), it honors the work of all of the vendors, and it helps other wedding couples plan their wedding days. A lot of the time, I have weddings that I don’t share with you until I have a chance to submit them to wedding blogs, which is part of the reason I haven’t posted a ton of weddings in the past several months.
So today I am even more excited to be able to send you to a Colorado Courtship’s blog to view images from a mountain wedding that took place at the Lodge at Breck that I photographed earlier this summer. John and Megan are an amazing couple. You can read all about them and their wedding at that blog post. But a little more gushing from me…I loved the engagement session that we did in Highlands Ranch…they were up for anything and Megan’s long hair sparkling in the sun was just to-die-for! John is from Maryland (Woot, woot, not that it matters!) and he has a great sense of humor (always a bonus). Their taste is great–Megan’s wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous, their wedding decor was well planned, and their “cake”–I was jealous of dining guests. And of course, the Lodge at Breck’s deck is just one of the most scenic spots in all of Colorado! Thank you Megan and John for letting me be a part of your wedding day.
