Photography Event : Announcing Mother’s Day Mini Sessions!

Flower Child Mother’s Day Mini Sessions

It’s that time of year again…spring is here! (Nevermind that it is snowing as I type this.)

And to celebrate spring, rebirth, motherhood, and Mother’s Day, I am offering Mother’s Day mini sessions! And to make this event even more special, there will be flowers…let your inner hippie/Boho mama shine as you and yours wear beautiful floral crowns provided by A Florae, a Longmont, Colorado florist.

I’ll be photographing you and your little one (or little ones)(or not so little anymore ones!) at the South Mesa Trailhead in Eldorado Springs Canyon just south of Boulder on Saturday, May 5. Limited time slots between 10 and 4:30. I’ll also be photographing on Saturday, May 19 at Roger’s Grove in Longmont, again with limited time slots between 10 and 4:30.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to actually be in photos with your children! We’ll capture beautiful images of you and kid(s) posing and loving each other along the beauty of Colorado’s creeks.

And, once you make it through the Mother’s Day mini sessions post, there’s the opportunity for a free gift at the end!

When: May 5 (South Mesa Trailhead in Eldorado Springs Canyon south of Boulder, Colorado) and May 19 (Roger’s Grover in Longmont, Colorado)

How to book: Email me with the date/location of your choice and a couple of times that work for you. If you are trying to get the “book with a friend deal”, just mention that in the email. I will then secure your time slot and send you an invoice. Once paid, you’re in! And I’ll send you my mini photography session guide to help make this as easy as possible.

Limited spots fill up fast, so book today. Email info@susannahphoto.com to save your date and time. You can also call, but there is a good chance I won’t have the schedule in front of me and we’d end up playing phone tag. Just sayin.’

Frequently Asked Questions About Mother’s Day Mini Sessions

Or, at least these are questions I imagine you mamas may be asking. No one has asked them just yet, but they are spinning around in my brain.

**What if I don’t want to wear a flower crown?
Well, you don’t have to. But it will be cute. And the session will cost you the same regardless.

**How will I know what I look like if I meet you at a trailhead?
We’ll meet at my car, and I will have a large mirror to help make sure you like how the crown looks on you.

**Do I get to keep my floral crown?
(For those of you from the opposite side of the flower perspective.) That is my intention. But, because my florist is slammed with Mother’s Day and needs to know about the crowns a week in advance, this may not happen. If it doesn’t and your daughter (or son too) really wants to keep the crown, I will work on a solution for her (or him)!

Takeaway: If you 100% want your floral crowns, book right away (April 27) for the May 5 session or by May 11 for the the May 19 session.

**What if it rains and we’ve already paid you?
To accommodate for rain, part of the May 19 date may become an indoor session at my home. There will be a dark blue/charcoal gray backdrop with natural lighting. Bottom line here: your faces and flowers will pop and shine and look extra beautiful.

I will also work with you to get these portraits done! Do not worry–we will find a time within your schedule to make it happen.

**You mentioned other bonus products. What were you talking about?
You will receive 10 files with printing rights. Additional images may be available at an additional cost. I will also be offering a few products at great rates–wood boxes with prints from session for $125, an acrylic block with an image from the session: 4×6=$80, 5×7=$85, 6×6=$100, or a simple mouse pad (hey, could this be a Father’ Day gift for Dad?!) for $25. There will be a strict deadline to order additional products, and it will be within a week of receiving your online gallery.

**When will my online gallery be ready anyway?
Within a week of the mini session.

**Is there anything else I should know?
$10 from each mini session will be donated to American Whitewater. Since we’ll be enjoying the beauty of Colorado’s streams/creeks during the session, I want to ensure my kids and (hopefully) grandkids get to do the same.
