Peaceful Valley Ranch Wedding near Lyons, Colorado

When I heard that Becky and Aaron were having a Peaceful Valley Ranch wedding in the mountains outside of Boulder, I was already hooked–I wanted to photograph their big day. Ever since I went on a mini vacation there with my family when I first moved to Colorado, I’ve enjoyed any visits to Peaceful Valley. And when I learned that Becky was from Vermont, one of my favorite states (Maryland, Colorado, Vermont, and New York are tops on my list), I was even more interested. And then I learned that Aaron was a rugby player (I played in college)–I was really hoping it would all work out. And, as luck would have it, it did.

There were so many details of their wedding that I loved: Aaron’s wolf ring, the vases that Becky made, the ice cream bar, the surprise skit, the bluegrass band, the Beatles song for the father-daughter dance, the grandfather’s speech, the fire pit, the family dancing together. It was one of my favorites!
