Boulder Family Lifestyle Session

Hello, I'm susannah.
I believe that moms need to be in photos with their families. Today. While your kids are still shorter than the kitchen counters and your home is cluttered with LEGOS, stuffies, and piles of laundry.

Boulder Family Photography

In-home Lifestyle Session

I was recently blessed with the opportunity to photograph this lovely Boulder family. I played at their Colorado home for a couple of hours, and we captured some amazing moments of jumping on the bed, running around the lawn, playing the piano, hanging out under a blanket, checking out the pool. It was a long session that enabled me to photograph many sweet moments between all four family members.

This is an example of my in-home lifestyle photography sessions. The kids (all kids definitely have their own ideas on what and where I should photograph things and what they should or should not be doing!) and I helped create moments in different areas of the home, and I just photographed the goings on. I captured a few traditional photos of everyone looking at the camera, but I think the real magic happens in the action photos…like those of the parents throwing their kids in the air and the genuine glee on the little toddler boy’s face!

A big thank you to these amazing clients–your album in in the works!–and I hope everyone enjoys these photos.

hey there!

I've been photographing families professionally since 2006. I am a wife, mama to 2 boys, companion to 2 cats who are named after members of the royal British family, a former preschool teacher. I love running, hiking 14ers, sparkly clothes, the band Phish, river float trips, St. John USVI, farm CSAs, and Colorado blue skies.
